Sprouts Child Development & Research Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation in Gurugram. We provide therapy and early intervention for children with developmental needs, train the next generation of paediatric therapists, and carry out research that improves how children are cared for.

Our story:

Sprouts began working with families in 2015 and opened our centre in Sector 45, Gurugram, in 2017. For nine years we have grown without outside funding, supported by the families we serve. We have never turned a child away or reduced therapy because a family couldn’t afford it. In April 2026, Sprouts became a registered Section 8 non-profit company so we can reach more children who need us.

What we do

• Therapy and early intervention: physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, special education and behaviour therapy, with each child’s specialists planning together as one team.

• Training future therapists: Sprouts is a clinical training site with signed MOUs with SGT University and Manav Rachna University, and hosts students from DIPSAR, Delhi University and other institutions.

• Research: our clinicians study questions that matter to children and families, including how aquatic therapy can support children with autism.

• Parent education: workshops and articles that help families understand their child’s development and continue progress at home.

Where support is needed most

Many children with cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions need specialised equipment such as body-weight-supported treadmill training, functional electrical stimulation and gait trainers. Most families can’t access it. We are raising funds to build a paediatric neurorehabilitation programme in Gurugram, so these children can receive this care close to home.
