Shivam Kumar Vishwakarma leads the Speech and Language Pathology department at Sprouts Child Development & Research Foundation in Gurugram and serves on its board.

He works with children who have delayed speech and language, articulation difficulties, stuttering and other fluency concerns, voice disorders, and feeding and oral-motor difficulties. Many of the children he sees have autism, cerebral palsy or intellectual disability.

Shivam is trained in Oral Placement Therapy and has additional training in NDT and Sensory Integration. He works closely with Sprouts’ physiotherapists and occupational therapists, so each child’s breathing, posture and oral-motor control support their speech and feeding goals. His sessions are play-based, so children stay engaged while they learn.
